This 62-foot tall statue outside a church in Monroe, Ohio was struck down by lightning Monday night, leaving only a blackened steel skeleton. Nicknamed "Touchdown Jesus", the statue was one of southwest Ohio's most familiar landmarks.
It really makes one think, "Hm, maybe there is a god and maybe he has good taste in sculpture?"
God tells southwestern Ohio to be less sanctimonious, more like Burning Man.
