ABC's 'Lost' premiere may be replaced by President's Obama State of the Union address

TV viewers want President Obama to get “Lost” after reports that the State of the Union address may be moved to Feb. 2. No one seems to have told the White House that the highly anticipated premiere of "Lost’s" last season (according to ABC) is set for the same date.
Fans that have been waiting five years for answers to the plane crash drama's multiple mysteries are now facing an even longer delay so that Obama can tout the new healthcare law, The Washington Post reports.
The President's annual speech is traditionally set for late January at 9 p.m. Networks reportedly planned their schedules around the news that the speech would take place Jan. 26. According to the Post, the White House may have moved the date in order to ensure Obama's speech could include the healthcare reform package as an audiovisual aid.
A Variety reporter helpfully suggested that the co-CEO of the agency that represents "Lost" executive producer, Carlton Cuse, should "fix this" by calling his brother, who works at the White House.
In less practical protest of the date change, one "Lost" fan launched a Twitter attack under the hashtag #NoStateofUnionFeb2.
Under the subject, dlsteinb twittered: "Unless Obama tells us when Locke became possessed, we would rather watch LOST than the state of our union."
Another Twitter user made a slightly more prosaic comment. aouaLOST wrote, "Barack Obama has clearly never seen Josh Holloway without a shirt on."
It turns out some people would rather decipher the numbers on "Lost,” than the fine print on healthcare.
